СУЗДАЛЬСКИЕ ЖИТИЯ XVI в. И ИСТОРИЧЕСКАЯ ПАМЯТЬ

Статья посвящена житиям суздальских святых XVI в.: Евфимия Суздальского, Иоанна, епископа Суздальского, и Евфросинии Суздальской. Автор предполагает, что в них отразилась историческая память о ранней истории Суздаля. В частности, в Житии епископа Иоанна и особенно Евфросинии Суздальской зафиксированы представления о тесной связи Суздаля с сельской округой.

THE SUZDAL LIVES OF THE SAINTS OF THE 16th CENTURY AND HISTORICAL MEMORY

The article is devoted to the Lives of the Suzdal saints of the 16th century. These are the Lives of Euthymius of Suzdal, Ioann Bishop of Suzdal and Euphrosyne of Suzdal. The author suggests that they reflect the historical memory of the early history of Suzdal. In particular, in the Life of Bishop Ioann and especially Euphrosyne of Suzdal, ideas about the close connection of Suzdal with the rural district are recorded.
